Overview from an Investor (Tony Lahert, the founder)

My name is Anthony Lahert and I guess like you I am angry. Angry but clearly focused.

I invested substantially in the Keydata SIB on the advice of my IFA and since learning about the theft of assets in the summer of 2009 I have been working closely with a team I brought together to garner support for this action.

I decided:
  • Not to forlornly chase the stolen assets, which will already be heavily devalued, assuming they can be found;
  • Not to rely on the Keydata Administrators to recover monies through the Administration process;
  • Not to pursue my IFA;
but to focus my anger and pursue with vigour the institutional counterparties, the real miscreants, who were supposed to be watching over my investment to ensure it was not stolen, and who have the funds to pay for their mistakes.

I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by quality advisors and would like to take this opportunity to thank them collectively for their support so far. In particular Alan Thomas, Michael Green, his team at Enyo Law LLP and Mark Waller.

I would also like to acknowledge the Patron IFAs who funded the set up of KSLIT and most importantly nearly 900 SLS/LSC investors who together have made this possible.

You are invited to join me.
